Boss: The Black Experience in Business

Within a year of its opening, we hosted a screening of BOSS: The Black Experience in Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s brand new Collat School of Business. We teamed up with the Bill L Harbert Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Women in Entrepreneurship to host the community on campus in an effort to strengthen those ties.

We had over 150 attendees and almost 200 registrants for this midsummer gathering that featured a reception with delicious bites, a DIY photo booth, and music. After the screening, we had a panel discussion with Black entrepreneurs who shared their journeys in business.
