Collab Studio will host a free seminar to help Black founders understand the need for patents, trademarks, domain names, and other forms of legal protection for their intellectual property. These skills will arm you with the basic knowledge you need to begin your journey into IP effectively and confidently!

Gaylon Hollis, Principal at Hollis Intellectual Property Law, will lead this session. He is an experienced attorney in intellectual property, licensing, contract drafting and negotiations. He also serves as adjunct Professor Of Intellectual Property Law focused on aiding entrepreneurs and start-ups. He possesses a strong technical background as he has multiple Master of Science degrees focused in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
